The pigments used were all natural dyes-nothing store bought. They were either vegetable based or mineral based. Some of them he (my teacher) ground himself. Others he had ground beforehand. It might be difficult to obtain these materials in the States, but you can always talk to a staff member at a store like Utrecht or ArtPlaza. They are usually very helpful.

so sweet, love how you are both in an obvious state of happiness and worked at nuturing and celebrating your individual ways of life you were broght up with. I am looking forward to some day having some thing simalar,a sweet open minded Sikh husband. I had a love but he was to marry old school Sikh so we said good bye. Your union warms my heart! Much love and wellness always to you both.

Hello Jenny,
My name is Kim and I am also marrying a my sikh fiance named Arvinder in July in Australia and then again in Ludhiana Punjab in November next year. Very excited but also very nervous.
Your photo is lovely :) you two make a wonderful couple and I wish you both the very best.
Is there any advice you can give me about the wedding or lifestyle anything that may be helpful to me? I would really appreciate it.

Hi Lisa,
Yes, India has been a huge influence in my work lately. What were you researching in Goa? Nice place to stick around for a while.

Hello Jenny, I am so glad that I received your recent gallery announcement...I am trying to recall you...we were Fulbrighters at the same time. I was in Goa. I am so pleased to be able to read your blog-The Dharma Project- and, would love to see more of your work that arose from your exposure to India. Lisa

Gross. Ever since Estee Lauder bought them, that company has gone downhill. The product formulations aren't the same anymore, and they started including artificial fragrances.
